KosmoCare Alternating Air Pressure Mattress is intended for elderly immobile and bed ridden patients with disabilities to reduce pressure points and prevention of bed sore or pressure sores over a bony prominence to reduce the likelihood of the patient's developing decubitus ulcers (bedsores).
The device provides relief from bed sores and pressure- ulcers caused by extended bedrest. The alternating pressure mattress which is intended to be placed on top of the bed mattress to actively change an occupants bed contact points, typically to relieve pressure points for comfort and to prevent pressure sores in elderly immobilized patients with disabilities.
